Just Another Runner is a documentary series that aims to celebrate the human spirit and its limitless potential by placing a spotlight on the running community, where ordinary people achieve extraordinary things. These kinds of stories are not unique to runners or even athletes, but they are inspiring examples of how a diverse and supportive community can empower us to improve, overcome and give back.
Director – Evan B. Wood
Evan is a native New Yorker and filmmaker, graduating from NYU Tisch School of the Arts in 2016. He began running marathons in 2012 for Team IBDKids, a charity based out of Mt. Sinai Hospital, where he is treated for Crohn's disease. In 2016, he was selected to represent his home borough of Manhattan at the NYC Marathon's Foot Locker Five Borough Challenge. But most importantly, he is just another runner.
